Yes, I know it's a sort of weird topic, .......but.
I haven't cooked in my own kitchen for over 2 years since my wife passed. I've finally met someone who I can cook for. Fast food is out of the picture now.
A way to a woman's heart is thru the stomach.
Shaggie. I want to barbecue and smoke food so bad, it's almost unbearable. I need Shaggie points. I really miss doing it. Hopefully this summer.
I guess the point I'm trying to make, and I've taught my students this. Everyone is a chef, they make their own food and while not all is 5 star quality, it works for them
Props to Jessica. She is my inspiration

Cool thread. Hope you get back in that kitchen and share your creativity with us. Will have to add items as time goes by. Of course I do not stop cooking when the winter arrives. BBQ once twice during winter then indoors mostly with soups, roasts , meats, skillet to oven or just oven ect.
Today will be doing chicken lolly pops for the game. A lot of work for two to three bites of goodness.

I have Done a Robin Hood Wellington,Venison tenderloin vrs Beef hence the name. Duck, crab legs, lobster, goose. On and on it goes. Would be cool if you guys shoot me some ideas and perhaps I cook run with one of them. I would prefer a grill suggestion but oven ct good also. Bread in 4.5 hrs max? One important note, you need special bread making flour, its a lot coarser than ordinary baking flour, if you use baking flour you will end up with something you can hammer nails with lol.

Looks great Shaggie. Like really awesome. Is that made with yeast or is it a quick bread? Doing chili for the Super Bowl. Making it with mango papaya salsa tho. Spicy but with flair

DarkHeart made a comment on the flour , thank you for that. Maybe a test of this is in order? test this coming weekend on what is presented in the video. Rock on, In the kitchen testing. Shit, need two of the same pans! man thats money. lol do what i can.

Shit, need two of the same pans! man thats money. lol do what i can. The method is fairly orthodox, bread is something you can do a LOT of playing about with, she was using hot water to make up for leaving it in a warm place to rise (you can do that in an oven if it will go down to 40-50°c ) I would have thought that if the water was too hot it would kill the yeast tho ? Some people add a tiny amount of sugar (like half a teaspoon) to get the yeast going, but if you are doing this recipe keep to the quantities & ingredients as closely as poss, no idea why she needs two pots tho, you can bake bread on a tray or in special bread pans, you can also break the doe up & make bread buns. There are bread making machines available too, they start at cheap & go up to some real fancy machines that can do all sorts of exotic breads. Don't miss out that shuffling thing she does in the middle, it's to remove any big air pockets in the finished loaf, you can just knead it a bit (only a bit) instead
