Thought to post this cheesy vid. Had now intentions of a video So little info and just imgs. There is more info in the description. It did turn out kick ass. Perfect smoke beef flavor. More of a Texas style rub. salt and peeper. Little thyme for shits and giggles. Took 2 full days from purchase to eating. Hence my giving you all a break for a few days.
Finish product towards end of vid if ya wanna skip my babbling.

Best on weekends theshe, brillbilly I try to BBQ all seasons. But Summer seems most enjoyable. Hope to see some cooks of yours and theshe when whether permits. Hi sahaggi...My last trip to the US...Florida I noticed that on the side of the road there were lots of dead strange looking animals (road kill) Amourdilloes and other things we don't see in the UK..All we see here are hedgehogs and the odd bird. Have you ever been tempted to stop and pick up these dead road kill and cook them on your BBQ?

T32,
Yes some road kill is eaten or givin away to those in need. Let me explain. If a deer is hit with out much damage the one that hit it or found it may be granted permission to take it. If not they may collect it and take it to be proccessed and given to those in need. As far as badgers, skunks, beavers ect road kill. I know of one person that would scoop them up to take home and cook. This is a bit dangerous. Dependent on the time of death ect. Some blow up like ballons road side. I say move on by. For me personally have only eaten venison that was a road kill. No other animals but have and know of some that do eat such items. Great question.
Was away for the week and brought up a Tri-Tip for an on location cook vid. here it is.
Warning the end of vid may have language that offends some. The after dinner footage so to say.

Cooked a Tri-Tip again to redeem my self from the over cook at Soldiers Grove. This one was absolutely perfect. But all vid footage and some images were lost or not captured. Any how I used my old vid for a template. The differences were...The grill and the fact I pulled it to rest before searing it over hot colas for minute and a half to two minutes.

Ok couple items cooked when away. Did "Pigs In a Corn Field" in new dutch oven. The co-cook BOB did a corn bread. We we both amazed at how little coal ect it took. I recommend it... was fun and easy, sort of. thought to share it.
We labeled our cooks... "Cook with what Ya got". Dutch oven was the best equipment now I think about it.
