bottom line is the so called great flood comes from the sumerian legend of a real flood that occured!
now obviosly through the years and in the bible it has been misinterpreted into the whole world being flooded when this wasnt the case!
there are evidence of major floods around the world and there are myths by different civilisations to back it up but yet again the bible and the hard core god followers have got it wrong!
blind faith springs to mind!
so in the end what you could say is that the flood did occure!
but just not to the extent as what it says in the bible!
oh and it wasnt mosses who survived it it was some sumerian bloke and I cant remember his name!
