Things are bad here, the water just went above the level that was reached during the towns biggest ever flood in 1942. The flood 2 years ago, that wiped out a third of the town reached 8 meters. We are expecting it to reach 11 meters during high tide tonight. Army has just arrived.
My bother and his family have been evacuated by boat and helicopters are rescuing people off of roof tops. 3 people have died in the state so far and more are still missing. I am high and dry at the moment as long as we get no more rain.

Thanks Boxfree. Still have Black Hawks flying low over my house as one of the evac landing places is a few blocks from my house. I smile, with tears knowing that one or more have been rescued from the flood waters.

Take care man because this kind of weather seems to be the new norm. I wish people with 'challenging' weather, to love themselves no matter the cost

Thanks guys, the water is starting to drop but there is still localized flooding. As the water drops you start to see the damage.
