I was stunned when I watched this. Shepard Smith may not go to hell after all.

I had to stop it at 4:15 when Shep smacked his hands and said "Every vote against the bill is a win for the insurance companies". That is simply not true.
First - we must overhaul our healthcare system, but the dems are pushing it too hard and too fast which leaves too many loop holes and things that frankly scare me to death. At the same time the Repubs are painted as being in the pockets of the insurance companies. Which at this point of the debate is a fair assessment, because any vote against the Presidents plan is a win (in essence).
But what needs to happen is both big pharma (who wins big with the Presidents plan) and med Insurance (which is the biggest most evil racket in the US) must bow to the American people when we take this national.
I'll continue watching as soon as I piss.

ahhhhhh. I know. I KNOW!!!!!! But I was hoping to set some kind of record somewhat a bit more straight. That people on the other side of the isle want a national healthcare plan - you don't hear that much.
It's a big huge issue, and it's important. Status quo is NOT the means. So who do you pick? Pharma = Dem vote, Insurance = repub vote. Shouldn't be that way. The lobbyists from both sides should be lynched and the career politicians that are cutting deals (for the futur) should be lynched.
I want a viable solution.
I can't help it. I got to say something on some of these things.

And as it happens you are right, I like the "lynching lobbyists" idea, that sounds like a plan.
