the first crop circle of 2010 has finally arrived Old Sarum, nr Salisbury, Wiltshire. Reported 5th May.
Herewith the first crop circle of 2010. It is in oil seed rape and measures approx: 180 foot diameter. It is a circle containing six arcs intercepted by a small circle surrounded by a larger circle. A lozenge shape lies alongside the sixth arc with seven circles lying in an arc below. It lies below the ancient Hill Fort Old Sarum in Hampshire. Sadly due to the fact that it lies in Boscombe Military Air space it is also directly below the helicopter low flight approach zone, the images were taken from 2000 feet and also the crop is not yet in full bloom so the imprint is poor.
The first week in May we witness the first English Crop Circle in southern Wiltshire. The area around Old Sarum is certainly not an active part of the countryside for the phenomenon. In fact it has only witnessed a few events of the last two decades, which makes this ‘Curtain Opener’ to the 2010 season quite a surprise. Many of the researchers and followers of the Connector were probably expecting the Avebury area to ‘take the prize’ for the first official Crop Circle in 2010. Perhaps this is the start of a migration for the Circle makers? Only time will tell!
Brill, the idea that aliens would fly millions of miles to draw pretty pictures in crops is laughable to me, serves no purpose what so ever, unless they have a sense of humor and are looking to confuse the shit out of us. But "anal probing" would tend to rule out the sense of humor thing.

yea that anal probe is ... well just wrong .... but i m not so sure of a crop circle/ alien connection .... i think some of these things may be paranormal...meaning they ALL are not hoaxes but i think the majority are there are certain properties that the real ones have that are not easily explained off ......

Yes its communication, its artwork a transient work often by hoaxers but again cant say thats 100% of the time. If its good old mother Earth revealing energies through the magnetic poles/leylines or long distance radiations from the sun or further away who knows but the complex patterns are a joy to see especially naked eye, something unusual is going on!
here is my standard argument when dealing with crop circles.
first, no one uses stomping boards any more. they use rollers.
now let's see if any of you believers can answer this.......
why have crop circles grown in complexity in direct correlation to our advancements in technology? an alien crop circle from the 70s should be just as complex and any we see today.
the cc that was found beside the radio complex has already been debunked. it was done by the people from the radio telescope observatory as a joke to make croppies look stupid. mission accomplished.
crop circles are a tourist trap. which is why almost all of them happen in one part of england. this has been admitted by the townsfolk on several occasions but croppies just ignore it.
the modern era cc maker uses night vision, laptops and plotting software in sync with gps. crop circles are not made in mere hours. some take upwards of a week to finish. even working on them during the day. if the cc is discovered before finished it is abandoned.
every bit of scientific evidence you think there is to prove them real is faked. the so called scientists who study them pay the farmer to not let anyone examine the circle. they will not provide any outside facility with samples for them to test.
you honestly think these circles have radiation in them? really? did it dawn on you that if that was true then the farmer could never use that plot of land again lest he risk radio active contamination with his next crop. that is really a duh revelation.
those who claim man cannot make these circles are out of their damn mind. a school kid with the help of a plastic spiralgraph can make ever formation ever seen.
if you still want to believe fine. i prefer reality where an alien species far more advance that ourselves wouldn't waste time entertaining a few people with silly designs cut into some fucking grass. if they are that stupid then god help us all.

Hey we have Drex, nice one, good points and ta about the hoax on the Radio telescope although again I will just tap that if you think every single croppie which has manifested itself has been done by a bored scientist, student or pissed destructive farmer? is well a no go in my opinion. Also what about the report from a non beleiving pilot who reported the complex thing appeared in under half an hour as to the time he took to fly past the area after landing refueling and flying back to base?
