Chiming in some what late on this topic, but I've also read through the Serpo pages, a long while back via OM and never considered them as anything other than imaginative fiction. As I do a great many things on the internet.
So the implication here is that somewhere along the time line, it was attempted to be passed off as non-fiction?

So the implication here is that somewhere along the time line, it was attempted to be passed off as non-fiction? pretty much eagan. when i first read the releases it was on the serpo.org site. when i got to the part about the so called journal entries by the crew sent to planet serpo........i knew right away someone had written a very bad sci-fi novel. sure enough what you had was a hack writer who tried to repackage his work as non-fiction based of these super secret releases from an insider. what i found and was ultimately the case is combine the shitty novel with the whole conspiracy bit and it actually becomes entertaining. i've never seen a more sad and pathetic group than those few left on the openminds forum who are still in denial over the serpo scam and believe at any moment they will be vindicated for their loyalty.
