i'm sure there are a few adventurers left. unfortunately they are funded by those with no interest in sharing the findings. personal gain usually is the only motivator for those who are rich enough to put something like that together. a journey into the earth could spell big money if large oil reserves are found untapped. not to mention the high quality minerals/gems.

Makes you wonder if there are peeps with money, scientists, government etc going on expeditions though. Of course there will be. Any one with a sense of adventure? sign me up !

Richard Sharpe Shaver (October 8, 1907 Berwick, Pennsylvania – c. November 1975 Summit, Arkansas) was an American writer and artist.
He achieved notoriety in the years following World War II as the author of controversial stories which were printed in science fiction magazines, (primarily Amazing Stories), in which Shaver claimed that he had personal experience of a sinister, ancient civilization that lived in caverns under the earth. The controversy stemmed from the fact that Shaver and his editor/publisher Ray Palmer claimed Shaver's writings, while presented in the guise of fiction, were fundamentally true. Shaver's stories were promoted by Ray Palmer as "The Shaver Mystery".

drex i went underground with wiggly to rescue daz,he runs of shouting.........come on you greys lets have a piece of ya,it was to full on...........scared the shit out of me i will think about going only if ya tell wiggly to wait for the signal to advance and not to wear his 2 sizes to small black mission impossible outfit
