Ferguson decision: Gunshots heard and buildings set ablaze as grand jury decides not to indict officer over Michael Brown shooting The St Louis suburb of Ferguson was once again gripped by violent protests last night, after a grand jury chose not to bring charges against Darren Wilson, the white police officer who shot dead Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager, on 9 August. Buildings and cars were torched, businesses looted and the sound of gunfire punctuated the febrile atmosphere at regular intervals as demonstrators and armoured police clashed across parts of the city following the announcement at 8pm local time. Tear gas and rubber bullets were also fired by police at protesters, while a Walgreens pharmacy and a Little Caesars pizza place were both gutted by fire. A public storage facility, petrol stations and other restaurants were also set ablaze. The US Federal Aviation Administration also said that it had created a no-fly zone above the city and redirected 10 flights bound for the city because of gunshots being fired into the sky. www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/michael-brown-shooting-ferguson-fears-the-worst-as-grand-jury-fails-to-indict-white-police-officer-darren-wilson-for-the-shooting-of-black-teenager-9880798.html# Did anyone really believe a policeman would get charged?

Here's what buggs me,why do people vent their anger on other people property?
How can things ever get resolved when burning buildings only stokes the fire?
It's like saying you hate violence and will smack anyone in the mouth who says different lol

The devide between Police and Public is getting to the point, that even decent cops will be tarnished with the same brush! To many unknowns stoking the fires including MSM!

I agree completely about MSM, they have a lot to answer for. They stoke the fire then walk away from it.
